FFEEC’s fundraisers are a great way to get outside and connect with Fernbrook Farms while supporting the important work we do to engage kids with nature. We host a variety of fundraisers each year that help support our unique programs, care for our animals, expand facilities, provide scholarships and create unforgettable experiences for kids in nature.
Your support helps us achieve our mission of providing hands-on educational experiences for all young people by exploring the complex interconnectedness of our natural world.
Annual Plant, Tomato, & Herb Sale
Fernbrook Farms’ wholesale nursery opens to the public with a wide assortment of trees, shrubs, and perennials– with many that are tough to find anywhere else! We also have more than 65 varieties of heirloom tomato seedlings and over 30 varieties of fresh herbs for sale to beautify your home garden.
You can also visit the animals (including baby lambs, chicks, and goat kids) or take a hike on one of our many trails! Join us for a day of fun on the farm!
Mother’s Day Brunch
Join us for a Farm-Style Gourmet Country Brunch under the tent over our red brick terrace next to The Inn at Fernbrook. Farm Tours, Wagon Rides, and our Annual Plant, Tomato, & Herb Sale will take place during the day so feel free to come for food and a full day of fun on the farm! A beautiful setting to celebrate MOM!
Compete against the clock, against each other or run for a fun way to see the whole farm! Cross the creek, go down the water-slide, navigate the trails, and so much more! Create memories for the entire family!
Looking for some Halloween family fun? Join us for our annual Not-So-Scary Halloween event! Enjoy Halloween-themed games, our meadow maze with fun characters, as well as a tractor-pulled wagon ride through the farm fields to a campfire complete with marshmallow roasting.
‘Tis the season for decorating! Bring family and friends to Fernbrook Farms to learn Farmer Q’s famous craft of wreath making. After a demonstration from Farmer Q, we will enjoy a wagon ride (weather permitting) to clip an assortment of pines and hollies from around the farm, which will be used to craft our very own beautiful door or mantle decorations. We will have hot chocolate and attendees are welcome to bring other beverages and their own snacks.
