FERNBROOK & TERRA MOMO JOIN FORCES to EDUCATE KIDS

We’re excited to announce a new partnership this summer between Princeton-based restaurant, Teresa Caffe and Fernbrook Farms Education Center. Starting June 17th, Teresa Caffe will be “Connecting Kids to Farms” by contributing 5% of Tuesdays’ sales to support Fernbrook Farms Education Center. A portion of their support will go toward sending children from Princeton Young Achievers, a unique after-school program that helps children from public housing neighborhoods in Princeton, to our summer camps this season.

Teresa Caffe and all of the Terra Momo Restaurant Group establishments are committed to boosting arts and education and supporting agriculture in New Jersey as a part of their Cultivating Community program. This summer you can support Fernbrook Farms Education Center and enjoy a terrific meal by dining at Teresa Caffe on Tuesdays. You can also visit Teresa’s sister restaurants in the area, Mediterra (Princeton), Nova Terra (New Brunswick), Witherspoon Bread Company (Princeton) and opening soon, Eno Terra in Kingston.

Fernbrook Farms is a 230-acre working farm with over 60 acres of woods, two streams and two ponds. The Fernbrook Farms Education Center was formed in 2001 as a non-profit outreach of the farm to educate children and adults about agriculture, food and the environment. We provide year-round programs for families, public and private schools, home-schooled children and scouting groups.

Our mission is to provide hands-on educational experiences for people of all ages by exploring the complex interconnectedness of our natural world. Our purpose is to educate about agriculture, the sources of our food and the importance of nutrition for healthy lifestyles. We believe people should make meaningful connections with our natural world in order to become responsible steward of local and global sustainability.
